The spider plant is so named because of its spider-like plants, or spiderettes, which dangle down from the mother plant like spiders on a web. During the summer, spider plants may produce tiny white flowers on long stems, as well as baby spider plants (offsets) called “pups.” The pups also look like tiny spiders. Let’s get one spider home!
